Yulia Barnakova
Yulia Barnakova is the Digital Innovation Lead for the consulting practice of Heidrick & Struggles, a global Executive Search and Leadership Advisory firm. She works with Fortune 500 leaders to develop the skills to innovate and digitally transform their organizations for the future.
She also advises clients on creative, digitally-enabled ways to increase engagement and impact in their meetings and presentations. She is involved in numerous metaverse and web3 communities and has conducted keynotes, team building experiences, and business tours in metaverse platforms. She has received recognition, including the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award, for developing creative blends with PowerPoint, 3D models, and mixed reality. Her recent TEDx talk “Think You’re Not Tech Savvy? Here’s Why You Are” features her learning journey in virtual reality and PowerPoint – and how others can do the same. Her tutorials about creative presentation and communication tricks have been viewed over 8 million times and featured in “United States of YouTube” installations.
Yulia has a Master’s degree in communication from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Villanova University. She also holds language certificates from Boston University in Paris and American University in Cairo.
