Creating Cool Charts and Groovy Graphs With Illustrator

Tuesday, June 03

2:45 pm - 3:45 pm Phoenix, AZ (UTC-7)

Illustrator has an incredible toolset but if you started out with the chart and graph tools you may well question that. On first glance they are old and creaky (I know what you’re thinking and stop it, cheeky) but with a little knowledge they can be not only useful, but super fun, too! In this session, we’ll cover everything from structuring your data to using Illustrator’s cunningly-disguised-but-also-mighty tools to make it look like you’ve got a magic wand hidden in your desk drawer. By the end, you could be creating charts and layouts so beautiful, they could make your data look like a work of art.

Topics include:

  • Learn how to hack Illustrator’s Default Chart and Graph types
  • Make your data pop—literally, we’ll be dealing with some graphic fireworks!
  • Discover the secret to navigating chart elements
  • Find out how to create data layouts that don’t wear Illustrator out
