Howdy, David Blatner here… Yes, this year’s CreativePro Week is just around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited for it. Here are six things I’m looking forward to this year:
➡️ Three Minutes Max: There are tips and then there are “3 minutes max tips.” We’ve got four “3MM” sessions on the agenda this year: one each covering Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and… new this year: AI! Yes, we’re diving in and seeing what amazing (but practical!) AI tricks our world-class presenters will uncover. The 30 presenters (ranging from Jesús Ramirez to Khara Plicanic to Tony Harmer to Nigel French and more!) are pulling out all the stops to show their best, wildest, most compelling tricks… who will win the audience vote?!
➡️ InDesign User Meet-up: If you’re like me and InDesign is your favorite app, you’re going to love this year’s InDesign Users Meet-up, hosted by the InDesign User Group (IDUG). Plus, I’m bringing a bunch of my personal collection of books and design materials and extra CreativePro swag to give away!
➡️ Hands On CreativePro: Need a break from digital? Ready to actually use your hands to create? Not only are we bringing back the “Camp CreativePro” Arts & Crafts room—and each day one of our amazing presenters will lead a “Maker Morning” class—but we’re also doing some very special in-person-only sessions such as Khara’s
➡️ Welcome Reception: Yes, we’re bringing back our networking reception “Bingo” ice-breaker game! This is such a fun and easy way to meet your fellow attendees, plus have yummy food. Bingo winners are eligible for prizes from our sponsors!
➡️ Solution Providers: Come meet the real people behind some of the best software solutions on the planet, including PageProof, Adobe, and more. And of course we’ll have several people from the Adobe InDesign team there, too — it’s a great chance to tell them face-to-face what you want to see in future versions of the software.
➡️ Seeing you! Okay, maybe it’s cheesy, but my favorite thing about CreativePro Week is seeing old friends and meeting new ones, like you! The event is big enough to be full of energy, but small enough so that we can sit down together and talk at a breakfast or lunch table… or the super-helpful “meet the expert” Q&A table. Or, if you’re joining us online, you’ll also find me from time to time in our digital Coffee Break Room! Come say hi.
Remember: there’s only one place on the planet and one week of the year that all this is happening! June 29–July 3 at CreativePro Week, in Nashville (and online). See you there!

Repeating styling tasks in Illustrator can be a waste of time. Fortunately, with a little bit of Illustrator magic, they can be handled for you.
Join us for a free 1-hour webinar on Tuesday, June 2 at 10 am Pacific to explore one of Illustrator’s most powerful and overlooked features: Graphic Styles.
In this replay of a highly rated CreativePro Week session, Laura Coyle shows you how to build your own styles, apply them across your artwork, and make global updates without reworking every object. You’ll discover practical workflows, smart shortcuts, and creative techniques you can use right away.
You’ll learn:
Apply complex styling instantly by building Graphic Styles from fills, strokes, and effects
Update your entire document in seconds with fast, global artwork changes
