    Tony Harmer

    Tony Harmer, also known as The Design Ninja, is a creative Swiss-army-knife and learning-content author with over four decades of experience in the creative world. Currently serving as the Chief Entertainment Officer of DN:TV, Tony has a diverse background that includes working as a press operator, concept artist in IP development, and designer/illustrator. He has also been a regular contributing writer for Computer Arts, creating engaging articles and videos on InDesign and Photoshop projects.

    Tony’s impressive list of certifications reflects his expertise and reputation as a respected instructor in numerous applications. He has conducted graphic production and animation training worldwide, which ultimately led to his employment as a specialist solutions consultant at Adobe. During his tenure, he worked closely with major brands and design companies, contributing to their workflows. Although he left Adobe in 2018, Tony maintains his connection to the company as a guest and host on Adobe Live in the UK and USA.

    Ina Saltz

    Ina Saltz is the author of eight typography and design courses on LinkedIn Learning which have been viewed by over 600,000 unique users.

    She is the author of Typography Essentials: 100 Design Principles for Working With Type (2019). She is a co-author of Typography Referenced: A Comprehensive Visual Guide to the Language, History and Practice of Typography, named one of the best eleven reference books of 2012 across all subject matter by the American Library Association. She also photographed and interviewed over 900 people with typographic tattoos for her popular 2 volume set of Body Type: Intimate Messages Etched in Flesh.

    Ina has also written over fifty articles on design and typography for various design journals, contributed to five books by Steven Heller, and authored fifteen essays for Phaidon’s Archive of Graphic Design.

    For over twenty years, Ina served as the Design Director at Time Magazine (International Editions), Worth Magazine, Golf Magazine and others. She was one of the first art directors to work on a computer at Time Inc’s Teletext Project. She is a two term board member of the Type Directors Club.

    Ina lives in New York City with her husband. She has no pets or tattoos, but she does have favorite typefaces (Requiem, Bickham Script, and Franklin Gothic No. 2) and favorite characters (&, Q, Z, and R).

    Jole Simmons

    Jole Simmons is a seasoned presentation designer, LinkedIn Learning author and podcast host living in the Bay Area. Nicknamed “The Presentation Guy” by some of his early clients, he adopted that as the name of his design company and has never looked back. Jole is originally from Maryland and saw the need for presentation designers in Silicon Valley, so he moved to San Francisco to work on presentations for large companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, YouTube, Gap, and Workday. He’s now a LinkedIn Learning author with several classes under his belt, and recently started a podcast “Presentation Junkies” with his good friend Lisa Marie Grillos. He currently lives in Daly City, CA and has an amazing 11-year-old daughter named Mia.

    Laurie Ruhlin

    Laurie Ruhlin

    Laurie is an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign and Illustrator and an active user of many of the Creative Cloud programs in her graphic design business. She provides classroom and custom training both live and online as a consultant. This will be her seventh CreativePro Week as a speaker.

    In addition to her teaching and speaking, she is a graphic designer, developing brochures, catalogs, newsletters, logos and interactive documents for a wide variety of clients.     Chuck Weger

    Chuck Weger specializes in workflow automation, architecting solutions using off-the-shelf or custom software to create and process pages quickly and efficiently. Chuck also designs and creates iOS apps, database and cloud-based solutions for client-specific needs.

    More than 20 years ago, he came up with the concept of “preflight,” which changed graphic arts workflows forever (although that and a dollar won’t get him on the subway). He also does work for vendors such as Adobe, Apple, Xerox, etc. both at the strategic level (whitepapers or other analysis) and tactical (writing and/or presenting training materials). Chuck is a well-known speaker and has written for many publications.

    Long on the bleeding edge of design and publishing technology, Diane Burns is an author, trainer and consultant. She is founder of San Francisco-based TransPacific Digital, a leading print and digital localization company. An Adobe Community Professional and an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, she provides custom training and consulting services to a wide variety of corporations and publishing companies.
